Former Afghan addict becomes entrepreneur in Iran

Iranian documentary 'Makou' features an Afghan who becomes an entrepreneur in Iran after getting over his drug addiction.

The documentary, produced by Jafar Goudarzi and directed by Elnazeh Khordpajouh, narrates the story of an Afghan who faces many challenges after entering Iran including drug abuse. He is now a successful entrepreneur who supports recovered addicts.

This film has started the editing stage after the shooting wrapped a few days ago.

Jafar Goodarzi has produced several short films and documentaries.
